LIMASSOL - T he Meeting of the Chairpersons of the Committees on Union Affairs of the Parliaments of the EU member states (COSAC), begins Sunday its deliberations at the Amathus Beach Hotel, in the coastal town of Limassol.
The Meeting is organized by the House of Representatives on 8 and 9 July 2012, in the context of the parliamentary dimension of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
According to a press release issued by the House of Representatives, during the Meeting, Andreas Mavroyiannis, Deputy Minister for EU Affairs will present the priorities of the Cyprus Presidency, while the EU Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger will analyze the European Energy 2020 Strategy – Security of Supply.
The President of the House of Representatives Yiannakis L. Omirou is hosting a dinner in honour of participants on Sunday evening at the Cyprus Wine Museum.
