This was funded at the end of the 12th century by a hermit called Neophytos. He an other monks carved their cells from the rock of the hillside below which the church stands. It contains some fine frescoes from the 12th to 15th centuries. It is close to the village of Tala, north of Paphos itself. About a 20 minute drive from the town.
