This is the Leventis Municipal Museum’s first satellite museum and is dedicated to Cyprus’s Karaghiozis shadow puppet theatre tradition. It was created to showcase old and contemporary puppeteers and host shows by new performers. The performance area will also be used as a workshop where young visitors can, after seeing the exhibits, have the opportunity to create and put on their own Karaghiozis shadow puppet theatre show.
