This was funded at the end of the 12^th century by a hermit called Neophytos. He an other monks carved their cells from the rock of the hillside below which the church stands. It contains some fine frescoes from the 12^th to 15^th centuries. It is close to the village of Tala, north of Paphos itself. About a 20 minute drive from the town.
