PAWS Dog Shelter Cyprus- Association for the Protection and Care of Animals cares for up to 150 dogs at its Acheliea Shelter amongst other animal welfare activities.

Direction to PAWS Dog Shelter:
From Paphos on A6 Motorway. Turn off at the fist Airport turning (Signposted to Ayia Vavara & Acheleia). Turn right towards the sea. When you reach the old Airport and Limassol Road (B6) cross over diagonally into the farmland and turn left at the fence. Follow our private road for 1.1 kilometres until you reach the shelter. You are welcome to visit the shelter between 9am and 11am daily.

There is also a charity shop linked to the shelter in Chlorakas.
